That just looked like a ton of outtakes from the 3rd movie!

After seeing that I'm looking forward to this.

The plot reminds me of "Real Steel"

Is 18 percent a higher rating than any of the other Transformers movies though?

Apparently this is not the film we were hoping for : towering over the others.
Although I've heard it's the 2nd best out of the 4 so far.

    So I'm guessing:

    #1 = Transformers
    #2 = Age Of Extinction
#3 = Dark Of The Moon
#4 = Revenge Of The Fallen

It is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overlong just like the third one. Bay needs to hire an editor who, ya know, edits. Endless subplots, annoying characters, slow motion moments in action sequences that have become so tiresome and cliche that the initial shock and awe of seeing it the first time has completely worn off. By the time the dinobots rolled in, 20 minutes from the conclusion I was practically in a coma. Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooo.

It's down to 17% from all critics. Top critics give it a staggering 6% meaning it is probably one of the most universally panned movies of all time.

it was super long, for no good reason.

They concentrated way too much on the human aspect. They didn't introduce much decepticons. There wasn't enough back story for the dinobots, its like they are in the cage, lets let them out... and now lets ride them. LOL

I did appreciate the character design for lockdown though.

There wasn't enough time with the transformers to build a connection, it wasn't like I cared if anyone died. My favorite so far is dark of moon.

Lets at least hope TMNT is better than this.

... at least they made the real transformer sound though. LOL

    lol @ the reviews

Richard Roeper gave the film a D, saying that "the longer the movie goes on, the less interesting it becomes; it just wears you down. As we were finally reaching the 165-minute mark, all that noise and fury was about as exciting as the special effects in an Ed Wood movie.

Peter Travers of Rolling Stone gave the film zero out of four stars, calling it "the worst and most worthless Transformers movie yet."

Kyle Smith of the New York Post gave the film one-and-a-half out of four stars, commenting that "This series was never good, but it was once fun, or at least flashy. Now that its gears have gone rusty, it’s time for an Alien vs. Predator-style rethink."
