    Default Joan Rivers dead 81

Joan Rivers, the raucous, acid-tongued comedian who crashed the male-dominated realm of late-night talk shows and turned Hollywood red carpets into danger zones for badly dressed celebrities, has died. She was 81.

Rivers was hospitalised last week after she went into cardiac arrest at a Manhattan doctor's office following a routine procedure. Daughter Melissa Rivers said she died at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, surrounded by family and close friends.

She was before my time. I don't get her humor. She was scary before and after her many surgery's.

    This is painful to watch.

    RIP
Whether you like her humor or not you have to give respect to a trailblazing comedian.

She was a pioneer for women at a time when most were told just to shut up and go home. Like her or not, she had a daughter and a grandson-do you think she really cared about anything else? Who cares what her politics are- everyone doesn't like someone and she just had the balls to say it. She 's an American and free speak is encouraged over here, whether you like it or not-and some days people talk shit, give her a break, but she can have her opinion-doesn't matter who doesn't like it. She was really before my time, but now I see clips, I wold have liked to watch Fashion Police. It's not points for internet sympathy, because when anyone dies, there are people left behind that need support and to read good things is comforting to them. The problem is that the internet is full of assholes.

yea sure, do you see the irony in what you just typed, you sound like you are talking to robots which most folks in this country are, faking emotions is such a cowardly piece of shit thing to do... you said 'she had a daughter and grand son" now use logic and ask yourself this, someone who supposedly brought life to this world to procreate and bring more life should know better than to be promoting the death of people, innocent or not..especially where some casualties are kids, i always find it ironic how some of yall get outraged at people who actually do not wanna pretend they care about vile people. you also said she can have her own opinion, so how about you respect our opinion not to like her or her opinions, keep it real..after tomorrow u wont give a shit..hell even now,i doubt you give half a flying fuck about her, unless you are invested in her financially or emotionally and that would be through some sort of aquaintance, im sorry,i dont believe you are that hurt by her passing

please do tell me how much she did to change your life

how come i didn't see you here chastising people who said way worse disparaging things about ODB when he passed, someone u actually knew?
