Just binge watched it. It's unbelievable. The corruption is blatant and obvious.

They really did not have enough to convict Avery let alone Brendan.

They literally had NOTHING on Brendan besides an inconsistent and inadmissible confession. Crazy he got convicted of that. Not one shred of evidence points to him.

Even the circumstantial evidence against Avery was shoddy at best.

Don't know how you lock someone up presumed innocent if you don't know beyond a reasonable doubt.

There's too much publicity now, the truth will come out one day.

Yea this was really good. Last two episodes were pretty boring since it was about the aftermath and reflection.

Things are gonna be even worse for cases in the present and future because of law enforcement's ability to use parallel construction (something our over-reaching surveillance state has enabled).

yeah, last 2 episodes were real boring. i'd like to see or hear a counter-argument to this documentary. it's obviously biased, but for now i can't believe this happened to him.

i read an article that lists the 4 people steven avery thinks could be the real murderers. pretty interesting.

theres a guy walking around these parts who's ex wife claims he was at that scrap yard the day the lady died and when they were in a resturant and he saw her missing poster, he told her "she's dead already" before they even released all that info to the public, its been a popular story here in the midwest for a minute now but none of these cops will consider the lady's story

There is a sub Reddit with a lot of extra info including other possible suspects.

Both of Averys brothers and his brother in law were charged with crimes against women. It's like a family trait.

You can see why the community hated them. They were shady salvage dudes who had some inbreeding going on.

But something was strange about the brother In law Scott Tadych and Bobby Dasseye being that they were eachothers alibis.

Also they found splattered deer blood on the walls of Stevens garage so any theory of a major clean up(which was ridiculous) was debunked.

If I can find that sub Reddit I'll post it.

It's of stuff from the trial left out of the doc.

With all the weird stuff that went on I still think their is a possibility Steve could have done it. From his back ground. Him and his brothers are hated in the community due to the womanizing characteristics they spew. Don't forget before Steve was Jailed the first time (wrongfully) I found out how weird dude is. He has been in Jail since he was 17 for other crimes

Before He was Known via Netflix. He had already been jail. One for Breaking into a bar, Another is pouring gasoline on a Cat and lighting it on fire. He wasted 4 years on those two bids. He also served time for chasing a family member with a gun which can be seen in this show.

In point I have to say that Whole family is weird. Most if not all of them are not the brightest and I feel there has to be some inbreeding going on.

But still its hard to say if he did it or not due to the evidence. Most of the Jury or at least 7 of them had a not Guilty at the start of deliberations.

DO I feel bad for dude, Not much. He was on a path that was taking him down this road. Murder isn't an eye opener is dude can light a cat on fire for entertainment. Most who mutilate animals for fun end up being psychopaths.

The fact that he has done all this time innocently shows he's fit for it lol. It's probably an upgrade for him.

Just got done watching also. I would like to see more detail's before I would be convinced he is guilty or innocent. The police obviously planted evidence, the tampering with his blood from the lab should it made evident to everybody. But, I don't think they would actually go as far to kill somebody to frame him, so then who did kill her?

The reason they would not go so far to kill her is that; there is no way he was going to get 36 million in damages from them. No court in that state would have ruled in his favor for that amount. He may of gotten somewhere around 2 million, which would not cripple them financially.

It could be that Steven didn't do it but the State just assumed and did sloppy work, and in the worry that they couldn't get a conviction and would look stupid again, decided to frame him.

The cops definitely did all the framing. None of those Averys were bright enough to be able to pull a scheme.

Only thing they were smart enough for was establishing an alibi.
