    Maglio Ordonez really saved the Monday Nighter with that nice catch in the 8th inning to rob Jeter tho, if not for that we'd have taken this series I believe.

    these perfect games are the result of playing getting off the steroids coupled with the fact that with free agency and no salary cap, you have four to five teams loading up and other teams getting raped....thus basically, about 5 teams in each league are pretty much tripleA teams with major leaguers peppered in.

    So really its not a huge surprise if you look at the level of competition out there.

    it is still hard to throw a perfect game, but yeah I agree I think now we are entering a pitching era of baseball

    I hear there is talks of having floating divisions meaning ever year the divisions will change , but the reason that won't happen is because the yanks/sox
