Thread: Sigur Ros

    Default Sigur Ros

I was curious to know if anyone was aware of and/or have any thoughts on them. I, myself think they're fantastic, probably the best musical act I've heard in the past few years. Which probably doesn't say much as there haven't been any decent acts to come through for a long time. I seen them live twice, supporting Bjork and Massive attack, their shows are visually amazing.
Here's the first track from their untitled album. Let me know what you think.

yeah man, the untitled album is a little snoozy in bits, it was a good call making it only 7 tracks long really. It is true that they went a bit overboard on being arty on that record too, but I look through the pretension and find it far more enjoyable, one of my best albums ever in fact.
