Given that most people have already reccomended Resi 4 and God of War, I'll give some different titles. For lengthy gameplay, an RPG never fails; the likes of Final Fantasy X and Grandia you can pick up for peanuts now. Get Pro Evolution Soccer 5 as well, as getting good on it takes a long time. Taking advantage of the backwards compatibility function might be helpful as well. The likes of Breath of Fire III, Syndicate Wars & Tomb Raider II take a fair while to complete and probably will cost only a couple of bucks. As for PS2 shooters, Killzone is a must, that game's neat. Timesplitters 3 and Red Faction II are good fun as well. Driving games like Gran Turismo take up a wad of your time as well (personally, I don't really enjoy racing games, but doing up the cars is cool). If you've not completed GTA 3 and Vice City yet, they'll give you a week or so of sessioning to think about as well.
