    Default Radarukus????

What do yall know about Radar? He's been tied into the family for years, yet never really dropped an album in stores. Personally, I've probably only heard him on like one or two tracks. Well here's an update on him

There is always a hidden chamber in every room, and every hidden chamber has a secret jewel. In steps rap artist Raaddrr Van, a long time Wu-Tang Clan affiliate has been in the mix since the get-go, since the Wu became a force, since 93 Protect Ya Neck era, Van has been doing the knowledge and building with the likes of fellow rap artists Masta Killa to RZA via the NGE channel. Just like the hip-hop great Kool Keith, Raaddrr Van is also known for switching names according to mood and growth, from Lodd Manefess, to Lidot Nyfe, to Tashan Allah, The Dark Knight, Raddar Vantana, and Radarukus, there might be more for all that is known.

Around 1996, Raaddrr Van hooked up with Killah Priest to record the track "Maccabeez" which had heads thinking he was a member of the now popular Maccabeez click of Killah Priest, Hell Razah and Timbo King. Prior to that, he released an EP "Rappin' 4 Change", and around 1998, hooked up with his then DJ and producer Sizzah Handz as Loose Wirez and released the underground classic "The Loung Gunmen", followed shortly by the infamous "The Black God" and probably more. The later featured The RZA producing a large number of songs on that album, with some tracks laced by OC of DITC crew. Word on the streets is that RZA still has the masters of "The Black God album" and only time will tell if it will ever be released officially. Van has also been featured on a number of hip-hop and rap mix tapes and albums from J-Love, Kool Kev to Masta Killa, Gravediggaz, RZA, Marc Live, Kool Keith and many more. Released EPs and underground albums which he sold on the streets of New York, with a box in he's hand, hustling in front of stores like Fatbeats and Virgin Mega Store in Times Square, NY.

Enter 2005, The streets has been waiting for a long time, now the internet is buzzing and also watching and waiting for Raaddrr Van to finally drop a new an new album, With recent online interviews and linking with Carta records Inc, The album is now about to drop anytime soon, "The Booth, The Mic, The Lyrics" within the next couple of weeks or months to be exact, beats handled by The RZA, H.B, Live 7 and more, contains previously unreleased tracks as well as new ones. The God's time has finally come to shine, a truly well deserved recognition. People should be able to buy the album online when it drops, More info of this will be updated when it is confirmed. Support the real.

It's funny. Since Chambermusik is online from out the nowhere a whole new Wu Fam is popping up! I don't even know half of the Wu Fam no more these days. I really want to know what RZA says about all these people. Are they just homies with Wu-Tang or are they really considered Wu-Tang affiliates???

I didn't know Radaruckus and Raaddrr Van are the same person. Then - according to Deck - he's the one who came up with the CREAM acronym!!! However, the "Black God Album" is really dope and grimey. You should check it out!

And Mr. Mayoya: Did you even bother to read the text? It says that Raaddrr Van is Wu since forever! Check this: http://raaddrrvanwu.tripod.com/
And open your ears. Radaruckus is shouted out quite a lot in Wu songs.

Also check chambermusik for a decent interview with him!
Or the Deck/House Gang video interview, if it's still on the server...

    Peace.

Ah, and check this for a funny wu anecdote (probably about Brooklyn Zoo):

RaidaRuckus knew RZA, Meth and some of the other Wu clansmen way before Wu-Tang hit the scene. U can hear him in the background of several tracks on the 36 Chambers and Tical albums. After that he just ventured on his own but still kept in touch with some of the Gods. He just recently began working with some Wu affiliated artists once again, after a short hiatus. He was just focusing on his own career without nobody's input, that's it. No dispute, no beef, nothing.

Well, I don't actually believe in things. Shit like that don't really matter to me anyways. It is what it is. What matters to me is the music; and there I have to say the "Black God Album" is better than many other so-called 'Wu Fam' albums IMO - with more Wu production than many General albums by the way.

    Peace.

Haven't heard it. And don't get me wrong, I just really want to know what The RZA thinks of somebody's affiliation. I never said he ain't Wu or anything. I don't know him.
