It's the best track on the album
^^ the best track on heavy mental, def not liquid swords, suprised to see dudes hating on this track the first time i heard it was absolutley blown away, it still is such a classic track for me
yeah i don't understand how u can hate this track...pure perfection
but first time i heard it i was confused cause it didnt have GZA on the track & i had no clue who Killah Priest was lol
"Reciting a biblical verse before I make your melon burst like that nigga Jules from Pulp Fiction...my salvation is salivation, and diction crucifixion" - Ras Kass
the only people who dont like this song are the morons who wouldnt like a song like this
that track is ridic. the lyric r classic and so is the beat and especially the theme. i notice the dude who started this thread named himself IRAN. most people from iran r muslim. is it because the song is called BIBLE? r u a prejudice? u know, just sayen
"I dont battle anymore! I uplift mothafuckers!-gza
The track is fine, it just has no reason to be on Liquid Swords.
As for myself: I had come to the conclusion that there was nothing sacred about myself or any human being, that we were all machines, doomed to collide and collide and collide.
- Kurt Vonnegut
open your fucking third eyes
It might not quite mesh with the rest of album, but the track in itself is fuckin classic. The beat is ill and the LYRICS are insane. Killah Priest kills it.
And even though it doesn't quite mesh with the rest of the album I feel it's a really nice closer for some reason.
"We don't need no diamond rings
All we need is a drum like
Fuck it, he can rhyme, I'll sing"
it def a nice song, but it doesn't really fit the liquid swords theme!
but it doesn't bother me, it's not like it's a party track or sumtin...
one of the best tracks off heavy mental!
Shaolin shadowboxin' and the wu-tang swordstyle...If what you say is true...The shaolin and the wu-tang could be dangerous!En garde, I'll let you try my wu-tang style...
Classic track, but it doesn't fit the overall theme of the LP at all. I read an interview where Priest said that RZA didn't want to put the track on the album, cause he thought it doesn't fit in there, but GZA forced him to do it.
A wise man told me don't argue with fools
cause people from a distance can't tell who is who
it's a classic, I dunno anything bad about it
NO WAY i love it!
Its a good track, there's better on that cd though.
The dealer of hope is selling me lies
Reasons to live are reasons to die, in disguise
This life was never mine, the rivers never ran
Cross your arms, its too late for helping hands
Spit your pity elsewhere, there's no sympathy needed
For one who's never alive, for one who's never completed (Bigot Hitman)
Fucking crack-smoking a-holes, BIBLE is the best track on that album BY FAR, probably the best wu-track ever made. Go listen to that song right now, you'll figure out you dont like it cause you dont even understand the shit....how the fuck can u have the balls to say this track is weak
