yea i'd call this a classic. i mean define classic but this is a straight through banger. Jay-Z really showed he's one of the best on tracks like D'Evils, Can't Knock The Hustle, and Dead Presidents II. Not to mention Brooklyns Finest. I mean compare Jigga's lyrics back then were just amazing and he was one of the few very great lyricists back then. Certified classic.

    WHAT'S GOING ON?

It's now considered a Hip-Hop classic.. I remember back in 96 nobody was saying it was a classic. I remember thinking, eh it's aight.. It eventually grew on me throughout the years to become a personal classic joint.. I can listen through it all without skipping a track.. Jigga kills it lyrically on every joint and the production is tight..

you draw, better be picasso, y'know the best
cause if this is not so, eh, god bless.. <--- The way he says it is just too funny... Eh, gawd bless

i give it a 4.5 mayne...the shit got some tracks that just make u go wowowoowow like bks finest with the late great BIG...both of em made sure this is one of the goat rap collabos...many hot tracks on there....but the album goes downhill a lil bit after track 8...so i think its a lil bit overrated just like liquid swords on here

Jay-Z is wack, not a classic at all. Had a couple nice tracks but Jay-Z is way overrated, ain't never been close the best MC in the game like his Stans say, not even best in NYC. Want a classic released in 96 go listen to Cuban Linx. @ Jay-Z

Classic to me. Jay kills it lyrically. Beats are dope. Too bad Jay didn't stay this lyrically tight
