    old school emo from like 85-94 is some of my favorite hardcore/punk. the shit that's called "emo" these days has nothing at all to do with that scene, or punk in general.

    word, i was going to post something to that affect as well. all this pop punk bullshit and losers with the dyed hair and girl pants being labeled emo is so off its rediculous.

    the "real" emo or emocore or whatever, is actually one of my favorite genres and no they dont usually talk about uctting themselves either for you peopel that dont know.

    ^^that's the No Man's Slave LP that came out in 2002 on Deep Six Records. it fucking rips. and yeah i dig negative approach, not devoid of faith so much though.

    On a related note, I once played "Slave" to a class at the beginning of a speech on hardcore. Best 18 seconds of their lives.
