Word. There's more bangers out than what's on the radio and tv. Edan's Beauty and the Beat and Pooh's Sleepers was solid. Also, All the work the Justus League has dropped(Triple Play EP,National Mayhem triple disk,Chitlin Circuit 1.5,etc)

It goes back before 2000, after Forever(Wu not Puffy's) dropped yeah the next niggas DMX, PUN,LOX, BIS they did well but P opened the doors for them corny ass 'bama ass niggas to come thru then that when it all begin them niggas went from being local to blowing well pass there talent level. Then came Baby and Juve which took lameness to new low's. Oh I cant forget about the 3 6 mafia niggas. But stay with me now the nigga who couldve put a end to it all was Hova and he didnt, instead he imbraced that shit with Vol. 3 a very down south pop influenced album. If he would've not aknowledge them clowns I think shit would've been different. I hate to say it but with niggas like Gucci Man out it seems to be more bad years to come.

I can only respect someone saying "the massacre, the documentary and Be are this years only good albums, this year sucks" if you've heard more than just that mainstream shit. One Be Lo dropped a great album for example. Tonnes of other great releases so far also (Black Market Militia, Blueprint, Perceptionists, Cage, Murs and Slug and others) as well as Be. Hip hop is far from dead.

Edit: Only just saw bringoutthegimp's post, co sign all that he said also.
