    Which songs should be on such mixtape? Like some "best of jazz" compilation?

    no, I ain't. but as much as I know jazz it was at its top at 20-55, after that came rock&roll

    never liked that era of jazz
    from 60s onwards it got much more interesting, jazz funk, soul jazz and shit

    straight up jazz thrived in the 50s-60s. definitely don't sleep on the 60s, and especially not on Roland Kirk.
