I've been into solaar for a while. favorite album of solaar is Prose Combat. the production is really good on that album (i think the producer's name was Jimmy Jay, it's all on my ipod, i haven't used the cd in a minute)

i was feelin Doc Gyneco on that track he did w/ RZA. but the rest of his stuff seems to be on some pop shit.

of course iam and lots of others

PS : Frech Canadian HipHop is solid... don't sleep on them. I bought this album a while ago by some Haitian guys in Montreal. the group name is The Rain Men. They are on some NY hiphop shit. production is super tight. in fact they sound very much like the Wu. Some really good stuff. plus they rhyme in both english and french. too bad i bought the album on cassette tape. but i still have it. if u ever come across them give'em a listen

I also bought an album by Pit Bacardi (not whether he's french or canadian). Never really gave that album a chance to grow on. on of the beats he used was Cappa's Milk the Cow's beat. he also had a song w/ joe (r&b singer) he's probably pop now

Booba's first solo album, "Temps mort" the best french rap album to me (but alot of people hate on him now).
Other than that if you're looking for good production and you don't really care about the lyrics cause you won't understand anyway I don't know...
"When I die, fuck it I wanna go to hell
Cause I'm a piece of shit, it ain't hard to fuckin' tell
It don't make sense, goin' to heaven wit the goodie-goodies
