Thread: Misunderstanding Wu

    Default Misunderstanding Wu

Anybody have this happen to them? For the longest time I thought Ghostface Killah was a Christian because when I listened to "Can it be all so simple" I thought he was saying "I can't cope the pressure/Settling for lesser/ the guard left blessings on the dresser" (eg. A prison guard gave him a prayer book for Christians.) Its actually "the god left lessons on the dresser."

Yeah I thought something was a little off. When I first heard Wu I really didn't notice the gods thing too much. The few times I caught it I figured I was mishearing "God."

Are Wu-Tang actually Muslims? I know they are part of the 5% Nation, but does that mean that they are actually Muslims who go to Mosque or they just follow the same rules or something?

Also, if none of them are Christian, why do they talk about the Bible?

Well, they are probably all baptised.

5%ers based some of their "teachings" on Islam, but they still allow weed smoking, drinking, fornication, macking on white chicks and stealing bicycles, if you know what I mean.

So if/when the Jihad REALLY comes, don't be surprised when Allah's martyrs fail to discriminate between "Infidels" and "5%ers".

Those who follow religions are like the blind man groping through a forest at night....spend too long looking for answers where there are none to be found, and you just might take a poplar to the grill.
