to be honest I think BUCK is the best rapper in G UNIT.......he is aight for a southern MC......

FUCK G-UNIT!!! Why are they getting so much attention on these forums. This is the "Hip-Hop Spot" not the "hip-pop spot". I don't give a fuck if I'm the only one getting fed up with all this shit. I don't understand how some of Wu fans can listen to this shit that the industry and the masses call consider Hip-Hop...and like it. You bet your ass I'm bringing the fucking hate. Fuck Young Buck, fuck 50, fuck Lloyd Banks and fuck the rest of the faggots.

I point you to this thread. I said it all here http://wutangcorp.com/showthread.php?t=2784

If you don't wanna read all that, I'll quote myself:

Well said. I don't support commercialism. Commercialism has always been around. It's like a balance i suppose. Some people are just not intelligent to understand real music and to lazy to think about the lyrics and whats behind the song. Just fuck it, don't care about the commercialism. Just as long as we can convert people from the hip-pop, to the Hip-Hop, we will be fine. One a time, that's why Create and I started an Anti-Commercialism Movement. And since everyone here is a Wu fan, you're all pretty much helping the cause. But try not to let this commercialism stress you too much. If you do it will consume you and that won't help the cause at all. Keep your mind free and stay knowledged.

That just makes you gay (INS know's I'm joking). It doesn't support the Anti-Commercialism Movement. Too many "rappers" do that, it's played out. Not hard to "rap" about killing. Yeah, wow killing. That's a hell of a concept there. Lemme jot that down so I can write about that later. (Sarcasm) Try making a track about real things, this GZA and Deck in Cold World, or what the Wu did in Wu-Tang Forever CD 1, A Better Tomorrow. That shit is ill. Concept tracks is where its at. Killing is not a concept.... The lyrical formats and the shit they say is so ill and it's so real, that it just fucks you up. Death is a good concept, Tearz, Impossible, and Ghost's preformance in OB4CL on Can it be's intro. Listen to what Rae says at the end of Impossible. That shit is real. That shit is it. GZA proved countless times, his lyrical art. Labels, Publicity, and Fame. That shit has NEVER been done before. Those three tracks were fucking amazing. Word play is deadly when used correctly. "I'll smoke you like a cigarette," or "I'll pop you like a bottle" is not word play. That shit is straight up whack. The way GZA destroyed Cold Chillin' records on Protect Ya Neck, was ill. RZA, Raekwon, Ghost and Slick Rick, did that track The Sun, that was good use of concept rap. All I Got is You (Ironman version), Heaven or Hell (OB4CL) were ill too. Heaven and Hell pretty much described times for a lot of us, like Cold World did. I Gotcha' Back did the same. B.I.B.L.E. (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth) was an amazing track. I could go on forever on how Wu tracks were amazing with concepts but I won't. OB4CL was a concept album. Criminalogy concept. I'll end it with that.

westcoast killa beez!......fuck yeah.....I missed the question. peace
    Explain to me how G - U NOT is gangsta? They are not Hip-Hop, I explained what Hip-Hop is. Gay Unit and the rest of these faggot "rappers" are commercial, nothing but music for the white guy in he suburbs to blast in his brand new car that his parents bought for him, just in case the other 2 that they bought him break down. There is no lyrical art there. To quote Rebel_INS on AIM; wowness, he sucks. He's talking about you Sicka....if I'm not mistakened, he just slapped you. I don't give a fuck about Faggity Cent getting more pussy than me. I want good quality music. The only thing that made sense in your post was this;

Congratulations. You are still part of the problem...supporting commercialism. Commercialism is why you get all these old people talking shit about rap being garbage. Because mainstream is MAINSTREAM. It's horrible and as much as we (well, most of us) hate to say it, commercialism is considered part of Hip-Hop and everyone we hate and despise for ruining Hip-Hop is an icon....I hate this. It makes me sick just to say it. I don't understand what makes you think G-Unit is a credible "rap" group. I wish Wu-Tang would just come out and say it like on OB4CL with Shark Biters and the Clyde Smith skit on Supreme Clientelle. Fucking regulate these commercialism bitches. The mainstream game is all "rapping" about ass, titties, how much coke you say you sell, how much pussy you claim you had and jail time. I wonder how much jail time they had....not counting the time they got thrown in jail while playing Monopoly on their way to the Water Works. All this shit really pisses me off, but like I said in my previous post. I don't let it stress me too much unless people go and say shit like you did Sicka. Sometimes, no, a lot of times I have to regulate on here.

I was 6 in 93, I started to turn to Wu when I was around 8 or 9. Thanks for the compliments but you just gotta understand...I'm a hater. I hate commercial rap and I don't really care much about its supporters. A lot of my friend listen to this trash. Lol, I don't hate you Sicka if that what you're getting at. I don't hate anyone here, we're all united by our love for Wu. But I just don't understand how some of you love Wu and at the same time listen to Candy Shop and call that music when you obviously know what music sounds like.

wow, you sound like a dude who is the "all knowing hip hop god, on what is good and bad hip hop".........dudes who sit in dark rooms and hate anything that gets play on MTV...good or bad......

.....sure I agree G UNIT is not the best......but in todays watered down hip hop climate, I dont think G UNIT is the worst out there on MTV.......like dudes like CHINGY, CASSIDY, JA RULE, LIL FLIP, LIL JOHN, J-KWON, NELLY and FAT JOE would take that honour for me.......I think so far this last couple years the AFTERMATH camp is better than the other shit on MTV......is it as good as the 1990's artists, not even close...but they aint the worst out there today.....

I dont really think that the YOUNG BUCK album was all that commercial either.....like there were no fuckin CHINGY, J-LO, ASHANTI collabos........is it the greatest album ever......nope.........all I am saying that as far as mainstream hip hop releases go, or G UNIT releases go, I thought it was a pretty good Southern Gangsta rap album......thats all I was saying dude....no need to get your tampon in a twist.

Your entitled to your opinion, but I don't agree. It today's watered down Hip-Hop as you said, there still is room for hard on-going MC's. 7L & Esoteric, Saigon, MF Doom, Nas, AZ and a lot of others are still doing their best IMO to keep Hip-Hop alive. Although Nas did fall off a bit.

And I don't really think of myself as an all knowing knowledge-god of Hip-Hop, but I do think I know my shit. I know there's a lot of people on here who would blow my mind with knowledge and their knowledge of Hip-Hop, but I'm just telling you what I know, and think.

ya dude, I did not want this to become a UNDERGROUND/MAINSTREAM talk....but I do think COMMERCIAL HIP HOP is garbage in 2005......Hip Hop in 2005 is a fuckin corporate sponsorship or a fuckin McDonalds marketing campaign......Hip HOp has been going downhill since aound 1998, and nose dived around 2000.......with no end in sight......rap is corporate now.....it sells hamburgers and cell phones now.......and the young artists are more than happy to fall in line and do the thugs-in-love jingles.....leaving not much light at the end of the tunnel

.....That being said I also think UNDERGROUND in 2005 has turned into either fuckin egghead/nerd rap or is completly borring.......like the new BUCKSHOT/CHEMISTRY is borring as fuck.....and I am a huge BOOT CAMP fan.........shit like MF DOOM is nerd rap to me, a dude with one borring flow, rapping about food he likes, while wearing a gimmicky mask....I dont see the appeal.......I used to love underground, when it was dudes like MOS DEF, Heiroglyphics, TALIB KWELI and the RAWKUS crew.......stuff today is borring or geek-rap..........seems like the underground has dried up the last couple years......like Underground hip hop is no fun anymore

hip hop is in dire straights

I dont understand how I cant like JAY-Z, WU TANG, PHAROACH MONCH, DEL, MOBB DEEP......and the last YOUNG BUCK cd???

Why do you have to like either MTV shit or UNDERGROUND......thats some faggot internet nerd shit

now back to the YOUNG BUCK talk!

im not straight up hate commercial and not give it a chance, im real down with the games "Dream" song, that shit is good all around. Young buck is good for a southern artist, but that isnt saying anything.. he is still wack as hell. He is probably the best in G-unit (if game is officially out) ... but your comparing him to 50 cent, lloyd banks, and OLIVIA.. so that isnt a compliment either. I guess young buck is high up there on the wack artists, thats all ill give him tho
