Thread: Wu Tang Clan - Remasters???

Default Wu Tang Clan - Remasters???

This thread has been done like a year ago............but any news if the classic WU cd's are going to get the remaster treatment like NAS "illmatic" and Biggie's 'Ready To die" got????

The only WU album that got remastered so far is METHOD MAN's TICAL......it sounds better.........The problem lies in the fact that all the WU TANG solo's are on different record labels........I would love to hear RAEKWON - ONLY BUILT FOR CUBAN LINX remaster......maybe throw a couple more tracks on it like the dope "Wu GAMBINOS REMIX" "RAINY DAYZ (remix)"......it is the 10 year aniversary for that record......

I would also like to hear a 36 CHAMBERS remaster......or any of the early WU cd's.....

Yeah, they should do that. But as we all know or should know by now, we shouldn't take anything the Wu says officially until stuff actually is released. A lot of stuff was promised to us fans, but was never released. Such as Bobby Digital instrumental albums, Ghostface's book, Bobby Digital Movie, and not to mention the misprints on 80% of the albums tracklistings. But I'd love to see all the Clan albums remastered.

Negative, dont fuck wit classic shit. This aint like VHS to DVD type shit, they already have them joints on CD. Remastering them would take that gritty gutter basement like sound away. Fuck adding joints, for what, these young niggas dont now who the Wu is now(including alot y'all reading this). I can see a box set though.

Remove all those scratches from 36 chambers and make it sound like neptunes beats.

Obviously you do not know what REMASTERING is.........listen to the BIGGIE remaster and the NAS ILLMATCI remaster....they sound way better, it does not affect the music whatsover.......kinda makes everything louder......like you will be able to hear more of that layered gritty RZA production

That's exactly what I mean. It sounds more polished. It's like those recolored Laurel & Hardy films.

i have a problem with tical cd
i always had tical album (original), but during my stay in czech on my holidays i wanted to listen to some grimmey old wu ish
so i ran to the nearest music store and went to the rap/hip-hop section
it was easy to find the mef's tical album, so i bought and even looked at it properly

i got back home and put it my cd player and only then i realised that something is wrong..... the quality
the sound was more clear and polished, but i cant say is it good or not
original sounds like it was made somewhere unde ground by rebels lol

but this not the most important, the thing that got me down was when i started discovering album cover, tracklisting..... and then i noticed that it had 16 tracks instead of original 14 and it had no multiplatinum supadupa bumping I'll Be There For You/You're All I Need To Get By ft. Mary J. Blige.......
next thing i noticed that instead of i'll be there..... track were remixes of bring the pain and release yo' delf (the prodigy's one) and the last one 16 track was the video of bring the pain
so i said to myself if that video is in dope quality im definitety gonna up it for my brothaz in permanent video download section
so i put it to my pc and what i see:
autorun started and shit happened it couldnt find some file so the shit doesnt work at all.....

    who had similar problem
    help me out
    peace

Why not have it remastered? The original will still exist anyway, so what harm does it really do?
As for myself: I had come to the conclusion that there was nothing sacred about myself or any human being, that we were all machines, doomed to collide and collide and collide.
