I have yet to watch brave archer 2 and 3. I've had them for some time now.

Wu Master Killer - have you seen "shaolin martial arts"? You might like that.

IMDB - i agree its not that great of a site to look up kung fu movies. Its good to look up filmography. I like "hkflix" I think it is, or "hkcinema".

hkcinemagic - is the best way to go for researching kung fu flix. hkflix is a site for buying films...but it does feature some useful info.

theres also the HKMDB which is most useful, but i think u have to sign up for it or something..

next movie i'm watching is "pedicab driver". I"m gonna try to watch it this week.

Tai Chi Master (not Jet Li one) - I want to watch this one too. Anyone see this yet? I tried watchin it and it looked cheap. I just read up on it a bit, and apparently is was a tv show in china, so that explains the "soap opera" look of the movie. Its supposed to be good and have some really good fights. Any thoughts, opinions, reviews?

"next movie i'm watching is "pedicab driver". I"m gonna try to watch it this week. "

ur in for a treat...just be warned, theres plenty of plot in this one..but what action there is is tops.

this tv series is absolutely amazing. the tv series (actually titled Master of Tai Chi) was directed and action directed by Yuen Woo Ping and his bro Yuen Cheung Yan..so that should already get u excited. the fights are honestly better than 95% of the 90s kung fu fights in film...and this is tv!! the dvd condenses 25 or so episodes into 2 1/2 hours, so u'll notice that some parts of the story leave u wondering..and some questions are never answered. however, most of the fights are left in tact, and they are ace. Wu Jing (SPL) is top notch in this one. the series came out in 97. if u know u can get it cheap, do it, u wont be disappointed. there are fights galore, the tai chi choreography is ace. based on straight fights, this is easily Yuen Woo Ping's best tai chi action...definetely better than Tai Chi Master and Tai Chi 2 in fights.

Overtock.com has a lot of kung fu flicks at good prices.

This package does not have the classic flicks mentioned by the Wu-tang. Entertaining all the same. 50 Movies - wow!

Yes sir he does. Some of his older joints are shaolin based. One of my favorite Chan movies to this day is still......

"Snake and Crane Arts of Shaolin" - Film was made in 1978, so it was before he was heavy on the comedy. Story is there was a meeting of the shaolin masters, and somehow they all get killed, and I believe the kung fu manual or kung fu secrets are lost/missing.

Other Chan movies I like are "Snake in the Eagles Shadow", "Dragon Fist", and "Fearless Hyena I & II".

I haven't seen any of these in quite some time. I don't even know if I own any of them anymore.

for shaolin-jackie, check out Shaolin Wooden Men. its my fav pre-Snake In the Eagles Shadow jackie film ive seen. jackie plays a mute and only has like 5 lines in the whole film!

www.hkflix.com is a good place to get movies...great selection, but some films are on the pricey side.
