Talk to me when you've actually read it, instead of thinking that takin' the easy route of saying that is deep thought.

We'll see who's exercisin' disorder when the trumpet is blown.

    Very true.

One of the main problems, is people "interpreting" the scriptures in their own way. Like God doesn't know His creation. He knows that most of us are stupid and drawn to stupidity as if it were the mother's bosom. As has been seen in this forum.

As I said before, I believe that the main problem is that people are so stuck on, in love with, and slaves to the life of this world and the things it has to offer, that the idea of following rules both scares and angers them. That's why they talk about scripture, religion and those who follow them. Plus, the fact that the people they talk about are able to do something that they themselves are incapable of because of their wordly addictions and the lies they take as truths.

    Death opens every eye though.

    Believe it.

but you have to remember the actual way faith is to be taken isn't as "progressive" as some ppl would like it to be. A lot of the time the reality of a religion makes us uncomfortable believing it so we try to find more progressive or abstract meanings that'll make us happy.

plus humanity is unable to give up wickedness. We don't want to so when a religion is getting in our way of stopping things that corrupt us like porn we think "well that's how those religious psychos see it, i see it this way"

that's why ppl have a problem with islam, it's too real. It says living righteous is not an easy path and it's going to take you going out of your way to get closer to god through complete discipline and 100% obedience and submission cause in the end of the day God is a force far beyond what you can grasp and far beyond vices like alcohol and adultery.

There's not as many interpretations as we would like to come up with to make ourselves more comfortable with out lack of self control

who are we kidding, Jesus wasn't down with bitches shitting octopus's

    LMAO @ the last sentence.

Not only cuz it's hilarious, but it's true.

On a global scale, I can see where you think humanity is unable to give up wickedness, but still, I think it's a case of us not wanting to. Just like you said afterwards above.

I look at the religious practice the same way I look at one undergoing Kung-Fu training. You have to make sacrifices in order to excel. So the question is, what means more to you?

In order to become proficient in Kung-Fu, you have to keep your body pure of all toxins. No drugs, alcohol or unhealthy foods. Your mind has to be calm and steady. So, no outbursts of rage or passion. Most of us aren't willing to give up all of these things, so we either go half-assed with it, or not at all and call a lot of Shaolin Lore impossible.

The same can be said about religion.

Long-term inward and outward happiness isn't important to the world anymore, therefore hard work and sacrifice for the greater good is seen as futile.

Most of us are all about "The here and the now".

I try to go with what Bruce Lee said in "Enter The Dragon.", "It is like a finger, pointing away to the moon. Don't conentrate on the finger, or you will miss all that Heavenly Glory."

Koran, AKA How to Live Life by some centuries old dead guys.

I only pick up How to Books when I'm troubleshooting computers.

    UJ tell me:

How did all people get through life before the Koran was written?

To answer this he would have to admit that the Quran is plagiarism.

Before it was rewritten, they lived according to The Gospel. In it's original tongue. Those who wanted to follow it and achieve happiness in this life and the next. The same way those before them followed The Torah.

It's only a mystery to people who are scared of following anything other than their whims and desires and instead choose to bad-mouth those who do in a pathetic attempt to seem deep and original.

Say what you will, my answers are at least grown-up and to the point, instead of ordinary and childish. Which is more than I can say for yours.

And you've still proven that you haven't read it.

By far one of the dumbest statements ever.

You know, you and people like you should really stop being so desperate to appear intelligent in the eyes of other people, that you end up also being willing to look like idiots in the process.

You haven't read the Qur'an either, so you just take the fact that certain things that are mentioned in The Gospel and The Torah are also mentioned in The Qur'an, that it's "plagiarism"?

I don't know wether to laugh, or shake my head at people like you, because your god is attention and the need to have your existence verified by other like-minded, and I use the term "minded" very lightly, people.

Now I know you'll take another disgustingly easy and popular route and say that I'm "judging" you just because you don't believe what I believe, instead of admitting the truth about yourself and that's fine, because I'm used to it and clearly that's the extent of your self- discovery, or lack thereof.

Bottom line is, your knowledge of these scriptures is little to none. You haven't done extensive research into them, you sure as hell haven't read them front to back, nor do you have any desire to.

So stop putting your foot in your mouth for the sake of attention. Learn something from the fuckin' music you listen to and stop pretending, because until you can actually bring forth proof of that stupid statement above, all you are is another jaw-flapper that's afraid of what he's talking about, therefore he spouts bullshit concerning it.

"Plaigiarism." Like this is the handing in of a book report. Hey, Einstein, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) could niether read, nor write. The only ones in Mecca who could've "plaigiarized" this, would've been the Jews, because they knew The Torah. One problem though, the Jews of Mecca wanted to kill him. Wrap your tiny mind around that one.

You haven't read the Qur'an either, so you just take the fact that certain things
Not ''certain things''. The WHOLE CONCEPT. All prophets, EVERYTHING. You damn fool.

Psa 92:6 A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.

Yes, no Old Testament and no Gospel no QURAN.

2Cr 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or [if] ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with [him].

46:12 And before this, was the Book of Moses as a guide and a mercy: And this Book confirms (it) in the Arabic tongue; to admonish the unjust, and as Glad Tidings to those who do right.

Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

I've read enough to know that you don't follow the Koran to the T.

How old are you UJ? Just be honest with us.

whats written in the book and whats told to those who seek to know about the book has them afraid of things they don't understand

most never really took the time to seek what it is they are truly afraid of

and they expect you to fear what they fear

and if you don't believe you should be afraid of what they don't understand

they put you to the sword so that you can fear them then be afraid of what they don't understand themselves -

its not to be thought about - its to be believed

For example, even some christian pastors dedicate their sermons on disrespecting islam, instead of teaching their own christian lessons.

I think a lot of them that actually believe themselves to be righteous, look back at the history of the Moors taking over and see them as evil, which ironically is the way the world sees them.
