The First Avenger: Captain America (working title), followed by The Avengers in July 2011.

Yes I remember that flick very well, but whats the bad idea?...the actor they're considering or the fact they're making a Cap A flick?

I reckon Mark Valley would be a better choice.

    http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0885090/

I know him from Boston Legal.

If they plan to do the Avengers movie for real, then he really shouldn't be 20-25 as you can't see him being on an authority level with Robert Downey Jr's 40 odd year old Stark with the Avengers.

No Cap should be between 30-35 there abouts. I know what you're saying but Cap has to be younger than them, it's part of his character and partly to do with why other heroes admire him. Cap went through alot during ww2, his youth masks a well worn leader.

Agreed. He may be a little too old, but it has to be someone with that all-American look. Mind you, he's only 3 or 4 years older than Matthew McCoughney.

Gonna be a good 3 years or so for comic book movies. As well as these four out or out soon:

    Iron Man
    Incredible Hulk
    Dark Knight
    The Punisher: War Zone

All these are coming or supposed to be coming:

    Watchmen
    The First Avenger: Captain America
    X-Men Origins: Wolverine
    Spider-Man 4
    Iron Man 2
    Luke Cage
    Avengers
    Ant-Man
    Thor
    Sub-Mariner
    Nick Fury
    Silver Surfer
    Doctor Strange
    Wonder Woman
    Y: The Last Man
    The Flash

X-Men Origins Wolverine will be dope. I wonder if they will use Hugh Jackman, or someone younger. Considering Wolverine nor anyone else knows his true age.

Iron Man 2 and Thor have both been confirmed for 2010 with Captain America (which leads into Avengers) and Avengers confirmed for 2011.

I wouldn't hold my breath for any DC flick other than Man of steel and batman 3.

Wolverine is out next year while everything else has no set date.

I think right now is fucking great to be a Marvel fan and I honestly can't wait to see how these connecting movies play out.

DC is smashing it with Batman but they need to step their game up with the rest of their characters. They did have a Justice League flick that was cast and ready to go but got scrapped at the last minute, it was going to be out of continuity with both current Batman and Superman flicks.
