    you have to base it on recent shit, mixtapes, disses, albums, etc. my list would go as follows
    start off with the fact that no one from nyc has put to gether a 4.5/5 or better album in quite a long time.

    1. Nas (followed up a decent album with a superb 50 diss)
    2. Jadakiss (see above)
    3. Ghostface (hes putting in work this year, 3 albums due this year
    4. Jay-Z (retired? nope.)
    5. Juelz Santana (still a lot of room for improvement, if sheek louch ever puts out his album then we'll see who gets this spot.
