I agree with whoever said it's Guru's voice and not his flow that makes him boring. But I still prefer MF Doom's flow - the way he puts words together keeps me on the edge of my seat.

I dont like MF Doom at all. Guru has put out classic shit with premier.

I pick Guru. It isnt his voice or his lyrics but his delivery. Most of his songs sound like he's rapping on his back with his eyes closed. Lyrically he's nice, put out alot of classic shit, but he lacks energy behind his rhymes.

they both have the monotone flows........I guess I would say MF DOOM has a more borring flow......but they are close.

maybe its PREMO's bangin beats that make GURU sound like he has more of a pulse

WORD! i got into gang starr this yr, got they albums n guru's latest solo. but it was guru's voice n his flow n some of the ryhmes n topics that attracted me to gang starr, i jus thought 'man this guy is nice on the mic, he has a nice flow'

one of my fav guru quotes is when he says sumat like im like minister, makin you relax. that more or less pins him down, relaxed.

i didnt kno hu guru or premiere was but i knew they was big ratin about premier n now i kno why. Moment of Truth & The Ownerz!!!

I prefer Guru, although I've listend to very little MF Doom. Guru's monotone is his style, and I like it, its unique. Plus Guru's lyrics are simple, yet you gotta feel what he's saying.

And to oldie, I think Premiers best work is on Hard to Earn, buy that now! but all the Gangstarr cd's are great.

in my opinion DOOM and Guru have mastered the monotone style, because, SURPRISE KIDS!!! There's different ways to rap.......I don't get bored listening to them, in fact their style makes you pay attention to their lyrics more, and in say DOOM's case, you can hear his unique lyrics.....
