    Default 2001: A Space Odyssey

Holy sweet Maria, the special effects in this movie blow away anything that is out these days. (The movie is from 1968. 40 years ago!)

Everything looks so REAL and the scenery, stage sets, wardrobe, everything, you name it. A lot of time was put into that shit.

The movie itself is pretty boring, and the ending is a complete mind-fuck that leaves you going,,,"uhhhhh,,,,wait, uhhh...." But SICK overall.

Netflix this shit if you are into visually appealing cinematography.

I agree, I've seen this movie about 9times. Great flick all around. One of Kubricks best. The computer "H.A.L." each letter is one off from "I.B.M."

2010 is a much more traditional sci-fi film, not directed by Kubrick.
As for myself: I had come to the conclusion that there was nothing sacred about myself or any human being, that we were all machines, doomed to collide and collide and collide.

Yea, not a great movie but it was pretty good. 2001 was more abstract, left allot of things up to your own interpretation.

The film is an experience that could not be duplicated in any other art form. It may not be my favorite movie to watch, but it is the best film that I've ever seen.
