nah you right, the first riff is guitar no doubt, was goin by my memory from 5th grade when i first heard the track. but the bassline during the latter part of the song is still dope.

i think the answer here is, the Bassline SHOULD be sick on that song, but in editing, they fucked jason over...w/e people have different views on the topic..and as i often say, i put the bass booster on my ipod for that album anyway..eloels

I got fucked over like they did Jason. I did this album called Piracy with my Boy ray. He had his own thing that sounded like Ministry meets static x meets skinny puppy. His band was called spine thieves and he had made one album already that I really liked called The great steal.

So I did bass tracks for piracy and he turned it down an shit. It wasnt even that I sucked. He just wanted it like that cuz Ray was Spine Thieves.

I was pissed then but its no big deal now cuz I got mad experience out of the situation.

I think that Dj Muggs basslines on the first 3 Cypress Hill albums are amazing. Muggs is crazy with the basslines.

I have a fretless Samick, still learning how to play it proper like. Jaco Pastorius inspired me to get one. Jaco had a fretted Fender, took out the frets himself.

No, I hadn't finished any tracks, most of my stuff was still in the works, I've moved since then, my buddy kept all the equipment. Not pictured is Pro Tools that we got a few months later. I played more rock type bass and guitar than hip hop, I used a few programs to make hip hop that, again, I'm still working on.
