Aes Rock and El-P. Alchemist, Qwel, Grayskul, CunninLynguists, and lastly Sage Francis. as rare as albums drop from some of these guys, the wait is explained threw their consistency to evolve and make great music

Its sad really.. Kool G Rap is always left out in any sort of "top" discussions..

In terms of bringing lyrical heat, dudes been doing that since the 80's. Album releases, yeah Half A Klip wasn't an album so it doesn't count. All the DJ Polo shit, as well as 4, 5, 6, Roots of Evil and Giancana Story were all proper imo.

Besides mc's who barely release material like R.A you mean?

Tech N9ne has to be on this list, dude has released a lot of amazing albums in the past decade, the year he dropped a weak album was also the year he released 2 amazing EP's.

so Sage Francis wins. But because I'm on a Wu-Tang forum and most of you just dislike somebody cuz he's different, I'm gonna say, show me one wack Sage Francis verse, and you'll win.

Ghostface Killah made Ironman, OB4CL and Supreme Clientele, but he isn't on that level anymore...+ plus the quality of his tracks lately aren't really in a straight line..

I still say El-P and Cage, and of course Black Thought. I could easily show how they never let anybody down plus all of them are great performers.

Would anybody agree on MF Doom, MF Grimm or Mad Lib tho?
fishscale was a great record and my boy loves apollo kids

agreed on black thought, doom and mad lib. can't really speak on the others without talking out of my ass
