Boston need to stay in the playoffs as long as possible and just pray that KG comes back and give them a lift. Still i think its going to be a Lakers Vs. Cavs finals.
How crazy would that be?? Kobe Vs Lebron "Moma there goes that man" James?

    Peace Mark Jackson.

Playoffs start tomorrow!! I can't wait. The first round has some good match ups...Especially in the West. Nuggets-Hornets series is gonna be a good one...Houston Portland series is the one I'm looking foward too the most. I really don't now who's gonna win that series. It should be a close one.

Another one I wanna watch is the Celtics-Bulls series. The C's will be without Garnett and the Bulls have been playing great since the Salmon/Miller trade...Derrick Rose has done an AMAZING job for a rookie... I know the C's will probably win, but it won't be as easy as some people think...and it should be an entertaining series.

I got my Lakers beating Utah in 5 games.

Everyone seems to think the Lakers will waltz thru the West, with no series going more than 5, but I just do not think that will happen.

I think the Rockets/Trailblazers is gonna be a tough one. The only easy series I think Lakers got this year is against the Jazz because they just don't have the size to match up with us. It won't be as easy as people think...the West is gonna be tough.

Thats what I'm saying. The West has great balance this year, and they play much better defense than they used to.

Any one of those teams can win the West in my opinion.

^I don't think Dallas has much of a chance, and the Jazz don't either. The Hornets have some major injuries so I don't know if they'll be able to contend.

Rockets, Nuggets, and Spurs all got a chance...with the Trailblazers being the "wild card" out west.

People just think Lakers are gonna dominate because no Western team has beaten the Lakers more than once this year...except the Trailblazers.

well, the regular season doesnt really mean much. It does and it doesnt.

The Nuggets and the Rockets I think matchup very well with the Lakers.

Spurs, i just dont think they can do it without Manu.

The Blazers are teh wildcard...so much young talent.

True about the regular season, but at this point it's all we really have to base our predictions/guesses on the playoffs.

The Nuggets are the team that scare me the most...Billups actually got the Nuggets to play D and 'Melo looks like he's FINALLY ready to step up and be the leader of that team...And they got a good sized front line with Nene, K-Mart, and Andersen(this white boy got mad hops, lol)...If anyone can stop the Lakers this year I'm going with the Nuggets. WIth the Spurs a distant second.

The Trailblazers are the only team in the West that can match the Lakers depth, but young teams just normally don't win in the NBA.

The only team in the league that scares me is the Lakers tho because of Bynum and Gasol. Of course Kobe too, but thats a given. They also have alot of depth. Vujacic, Ariza and Fisher. ANd Odom too, forgot about thim.

They have alot of size up front, altho I think the addition of Joe Smith will help counter that alot if we meet in the Finals.

But neither team was full strenght in either meeting, so it would be a good series.

The only team in the East that scares me is Orlando because they can hit the 3 balls so well, but their defense is suspect still aside from Howard.

The Celtics too, but I reallly think with or without Garnett we will beat them.
ALtho they are probably the best defenseive team we would face tho. They really get at it.
Anytime we play them its low scoring and physical.
    Look eye, always look eye.

^I was just talking about teams from the West. The Cavs are easily the team best equipped to take out the Lakers in a 7-game series.

I wanna see a Cavs-Lakers finals...You know my Lakers gonna take that tho!! haha, na j/k...That's gonna be close series IF it happens. Cavs are a tough team. They ain't scared to play physical and they're one of the best defensive teams in the NBA. But with Bynum roaming the paint and Gasol in the high post I think we can force the Cavs out of their comfort zone.

And Orlando is a great team, but relying on the 3-ball isn't the way to go, IMO. At least not against a team that can actually play half court defense (like the Celtics, Cavs, and Lakers). Dwight will make it tough for any team though.

True...the Magic's fast pace will be grinded to a halt in the playoffs and nobody will let Howard have free reign under the basket. They will be sending his ass to the line every chance they get.

They do rely too much on the 3's.

I'd like to see a Cavs-Lakers final as well. I think everyone does who doesnt have a team in.
It would be the best matchup. Too deep teams with the top two players in the league that can play up and down, half court, physical, hit 3's, defend, rebound.

I think it would be a classic Final.
