Default Hip-Hop Connection sadly calls it a day..

I haven't bought Hip-Hop Connection for a long time because it's expensive as hell here but the issues i've picked up in the past has all been great. and unlike The Source and XXL they never turned their magazine to bullshit or "sold out".

i'll definitely be picking up the last issue (check it out below):

daily updates: news, articles, reviews, the best compilations on the net. that true skool street hop!

r.i.p. Johan D, Kaddu, Ricke a.k.a. "Slick Rick" and the rest of the fallen soldiers - you'll never be forgotten!

    Well that's fucked up.

It's a miracle they managed to last that long anyway, considering that they've been basically struggling for every issue for years now.

This is some incredibly sad news, while I did see this coming it's a shame that it finally happened, now I won't have much to take with me on those long plane journeys. But hey at least it will still be here in digital form.

    Damn!

The only magazine i check for, thats a real shame. Their issues on 90's hip-hop and the special on PE's "It Takes A Nation..." were fantastic.

I didnt see this coming, i hate checking mags on line, theres nothing like sitting down reading a hip-hop magazine with a blunt.

Yep, I still buy mags because even though you can get the same info first on the net and for free but I think the articles in mags are much better.
