i think PE, because chuck d is the greatest voice in hip hop history, and hes the best emcee when it comes to social commentary

during 88 and 91, there wasnt a better group then PE

much respect to gangstarr i like em alot but guru's voice gets on my nerves sometimes

Gang Starr, they're more my type a shit. I love Premo, I love PE too but I'd take the Premo beats over the Bomb Squad beats anyday. Kind of weird comparison, comparin' Guru to Chuck D.
In the world I see, you're stalking elk through the damp canyon forest around the ruins of Rockefeller Center. You'll wear leather clothes that will last you the rest of your life. You'll climb the wrist-thick kudzu vines that wrap the Sears Tower. And when you look down, you'll see tiny figures pounding corn, laying strips of venison on the empty carpool lane of some abandoned superhighway.

gangstarr as a movement is much more flawless then public enemy. imo eric b and rakim vs gangstarr would have been a better comparison
