I just browse a few blogs and online magazines for new shit.

And always check out artists that i already know about.

And i don't watch much porn.

Bibio has released a bunch of albums, but his most recent is getting much rotation for me.

I don't think i've posted anything by Clark before, but he makes some pretty deep stuff, and listening to Bibio reminded me of him.

(also, we need to find a way of combining all these threads. i end up not remembering what i have posted in one and never knowing what genre something is. Maybe just an 'Electronic Music' thread.)

I think we should leave it how it is.

It makes it easier for people to browse a particular genre.

The Clark stuff is great btw.

Ok, Duck just change this thread title to 'Electronic Music Thread'.

Dubstep is pretty distinct from the other genres, but everything else melds into one for me.

And i don't think enough people really like Electro House enough to sustain this thread, if i just post that shit.

    ( listen to this though - http://www.valeriecollective.com/2009/12/a-real-hero/ )

Floating Points is awesome, makes some smooth tracks:

    And yeah, Clarke is dope.

He has some heavier stuff on his latest record also.

Underground Resistance (detroit) was that crack back in the day.

    a lil history
    No doubt,
Underground Resistance (aka "Mad Mike" Banks, Jeff Mills and Rob Hood) are probably the most important outfit in the history of Techno/House/Electronica. Their earlier, harder edged shit (before Jeff Mills and Rob Hood left) is far superior to their later releases though.
