thats what fasting can do for you as well.

after a good detox and fast your body will tell you loud and clear what it wants and what it doesn't want.

I stopped eating pork for five years, I recently started eating it again in moderation. I have felt no ill efffects from it. I quite in the first place as a first step to not eating meat at all. Witch I would still like to do but at this point in my life its difficult.

Is that good or bad tho??

Jimmy Crow was saying he likes to still drink a little Tap to build up a semi immunity.

Is it good that your body reacted so badly to it??

I can see your point, that it felt like 'poison' to your body.

I wonder tho if little doses might be necessary just in case....like they do with immunizations.

Just about anything can kill you if you abuse it.

There is an area of southeast asia where nasopharyngeal cancer is very prominent while its vey rare in the U.S.
The reason being they eat alot of cure salted fish, when fried it releases nitrites that they believe lead to this type of cancer.

my cousins are exteremists. at one point they tried to stop eating all together and went to drinking chlorophyl and some herb cocktail.
    smh
anyway they cut out so much shit that when we were on the grind and it was ness to eat a hamburger, pizza slice or a bag of chips to survive... they became incapacitated.

one thing you have to take into account is your lifestyle. you can't follow a diet or regiment that doesn't help you function in the environment you live in.

for example health food is expensive. if you can't afford it then you have to find healthy substitutes which may not be as healthy but its the best you can do.

don't deprive your body of protiens and nutrients that you may need if you do alot of physical activity. if you gotta eat sopmething that ain't exactly healthy to get thru ythe day...fuck it eat that shit. but take the proper measures afterward to balance that shit out.

kinda like sweating out liquor from your system. if i get wasted one night. the next day
i'm out on the ball court. i know they don't exactly equate. thats not my point but its adding weight to the positive side of the scales.

    the thing is...

is it better to be a jack of all trades or a specialist??/

Really, humans have survived this long because they were JOATs.....Even before humans, mammals that went underground during the ice ages.

This equates to diet as well and life in general. A life of balance and moderation.

Sure, you can splurge here and there, but you should always balance it out, just like Jim said.

    Balance is the key.

On day may call for you to be extreme, the next for you to be passive. You have to be able to learn to adapt and play both roles and also combine both.

This can be applied to just about anything in life

its not very hard to avoid pork though. I could see if I couldn't avoid it why it'd be foolish to not try to build up some kind of "immunity" to it, its just not the case.

i didnt eat pork for a long time but now im more mature in my christian faith i started eating it again...remember JESUS said

"its not what goes into a person that makes them unclean but what comes out"

    and paul wrote

one who is in the Lord Jesus, I am fully convinced that no food is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for him it is unclean

    peace be with you !

    Paul and Hey Zeus.........

This is what GOD said - according to the bible

    1. Isaiah 66:17
"Those who consecrate and purify themselves to go into the gardens, following the one in the midst of those who eat the flesh of pigs and rats and other abominable things—they will meet their end together," declares the LORD.
Isaiah 66:16-18 (in Context) Isaiah 66 (Whole Chapter)
