Default VH1 show taken off the air after one of the guy's put a murdered woman in a suitcase

This cannot be stressed enough: reality shows really need to step it up in the background check/psychological profile department when casting their shows.

Ryan Alexander Jenkins, a 32-year-old finalist on the VH1 show "Megan Wants a Millionaire," is a person of interest in the murder of a woman who was found strangled to death and stuffed into a suitcase over the weekend, according to TMZ.

See other reality show stars who've been pushed over the edge.

Jenkins reported Jasmine Fiore, a swimsuit model who also had worked for Playboy and Hawaiian Tropic, missing on Saturday night. Police had already found her body ... in a suitcase ... in a dumpster ... in Orange County, Calif. that morning.

Authorities have since been trying to contact Jenkins but have been unable to locate him. They suspect that he's headed for Canada, where he's originally from.

According to Jenkins profile on the VH1 site, he's an investment banker with these enlightened views about women and relationships:

Says he has left many amazing women in his life primarily because he wanted more women.
States the only time he cheated on his ex was when he wanted to break up with her.
Claims that he molds "player girls" into "princesses."

Megan Hauserman, the professional reality show star of "Megan Wants a Millionaire," was annoying on "Beauty and the Geek" and downright obnoxious on "Rock of Love with Bret Michaels," but even she deserves better than this guy.

UPDATE: TMZ is now reporting that according to Hauserman, Jenkins went to Las Vegas right after being booted from "Megan Wants a Millionaire" when it was taped earlier this year, met Fiore at a strip club and married her two days later. Fiore's mother, Lisa Lapore, tells the Los Angeles Times, that the couple was not married, but merely dating.

'Megan Wants a Millionaire': Jasmine Fiore murder, Ryan Jenkins suspicion gets show yanked.

While he has not been officially accused of killing his maybe-wife Jasmine Fiore, stuffing her body into a suitcase and throwing her into a dumpster things are not looking good for Ryan Jenkins.

Understandably, VH1 -- the network where Jenkins can be seen as a finalist on the show "Megan Wants a Millionaire" -- is looking to distance themselves from the sordid story as much as possible. Not only have they pulled all future airings of the series for the time being, they want to be perfectly clear that they just bought the show, but didn't actually make it.

"Ryan Jenkins was a contestant on 'Megan Wants a Millionaire,' an outside production, produced and owned by 51 Minds, that is licensed to VH1," reads their statement on the matter. "The show completed production at the end of March. Given the unfortunate circumstances, VH1 has postponed any future airings. This is a tragic situation, and our thoughts go out to the victim's family."

Also unclear is what will happen to the third installment of the network's popular "I Love Money" franchise which hasn't premiered yet. Not only was Jenkins a contestant on it as well, according to TMZ it looks like he may have won the $250,000 grand prize.
