Thread: Someone school me on Madlib...

Default Someone school me on Madlib...

I don't even know where to start...

I've got the Madvillain album and the Jaylib album but apart from that, I've only got a few loose tracks here and ther, no other albums.

I really like the OJ Simpson stuff that he's been doing with Guilty.

Any idea's what I should check first, what I should avoid...?

    Peace!

is this like a monthly fred now lol?

Well the madvillainy album is his . But if you wanna know a tip that I would reccomend for his best work other than that, go listen to MED's debut

14 of the 18 tracks = produced by Madlib, the rest by Dilla, Just Blaze and Oh no(madlibs brother)

alot of real Madlib heads consider this album some of his truest work

I like to start chronologically with new artists.
So you should start with the lootpack debut then go on to quasimoto.
