The founder of the Wu-Tang clan commonly known as RZA will serve as 'Artist in Residence' for this year’s Festival.

RZA will also lead “ToonTime with THE RZA” at the Ford Amphitheater on Wednesday, June 22 at 8:30 p.m. With specially selected cartoons screen behind him, THE RZA will layer together a live soundtrack.

As 'Artist in Residence' he gets to feature films to be presented and the RZA has selected the following films to be featured at the film festival:

- The 36th Chamber of Shaolin (1977)

- Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai (1999)

- The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966)

The RZA has already won a British Academy Film Award (BAFTA) for achievement in film music for his work on Kill Bill Vol 1.

His film related credits</SPAN> also include starring in Coffee and Cigarettes with Bill Murray, and will also appear in an upcoming film entitled Derailed, with Jennifer Aniston and Clive Owen.
