    Default Hiphop lessons: step1

    Yoyo

Im from Belgium but Im staying in Colombia for a year. Since people know shit about hiphop here its about time I let them know. I managed to slip in the organisation of some "big" party and they agreed to let me play some music. Now they dont know what hiphop is (yeah they know 50cent and eminen no doubt) so I dont want to fry their brains with heavy knowledge, killing punchlines and stunning metaphores. I need banging partybeats nahmean but still with a "decent" content. I dont want to brainwash them with lil whatever/ chingy/nelly and shit either. Somewhere in the middle you know.

Im thinking like full clip, gravel pit, Ms fat booty, shimmy shimmy ya, hip hop hooray, concrete schoolyard, ...

So drop whatever comes into mind you think fits in this category. Hiphop for dummies but it still has to be a party

    Peace

Why not let them be with their own culture, traditions and music. Fillin their head with that "party" hip hop aint teachin nobody anything anyway...

Thats the whole point, they WANT me to bring them something new since im the "gringo" here. I have no desire in meddling with their traditions and culture in fact im here to learn more about it. But I work at the national university and this party is supposed to be "intercultural". But maybe they wont appreciate hiphop cuz they fuckin hate USA here. But new things can be good right, Ill let them be the judge of that. You talk of them like they are some kind of isolated species that needs to be left alone without any outside influences. Do you think in the same way and block out all things that are not from your own country/region
