Default The Free Agency Thread ..Wade, Bosh, James = 305

    ESPN.COM ==========

A modified version of the ballyhooed free-agent summit that was initially suggested and then downplayed by Dwyane Wade has indeed taken place, ESPN.com has learned.

Sources close to the situation said Monday night that three of the biggest names in basketball -- Wade, Chris Bosh and LeBron James -- met over the weekend in Miami to seriously discuss their futures, with a focus on the increasingly plausible possibility of those three teaming up with Wade's Heat.

Default Here is how Free Agency will play out...

The Knicks will get Stoudamire and nobody else of significance. LeBron, Wade, Bosh and Johnson will all says thanks but no thanks.

Wade will stay in Miami but won't team up with Bosh. The big if there is whether or not Bosh will accept taking a 30 million dollar paycut? The Raptors say they won't sign and trade him, and I don't blame them. I think they are calling his bluff and know that he wont leave that money on the table.

If Toronto does a sign and trade, than I think he goes to Miami. If not, he stays put and the Heat get Carlos Boozer.

The Bulls will be left with their dicks in there hands more than likely. There best chance at landing someone is Dwayne Wade but Wade has said all along he prefers Miami and I believe him.
Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah just aren't enticing enough. Let's face it, Rose is nice, but Noah is hardly a dominant player. And outside of Rose, the roster is not impressive. Taj Gibson had a nice rookie year, but he won't be a perenniel all-star and Luol Deng is one of the biggest teases in the league.

Johnson stayed put because he got the max.

Guys like Johnson and Bosh are not going to pass up the max in my opinion.

    Neither is LeBron and Wade.

It's one thing, if you are Shaq and you are headed to LA to play with a young phenom named Kobe Bryant.

Its another thing if you are one of these current free agents and you have nothing like that in any of the new desinations you plan to go.

Its why they will all stay

Lebron is going to sign with the Knicks. I have a crazy feeling about this. You can tell that hes tempted. Hes made it obvious that he loves this city. I think the thought of rebuilding a franchise is what temps him the most, and with amare and an above qverage point guard i think he knows they have a shot to be good. I ll keep my hopes up... Lets go Knicks!!

The Knicks will continue to suck. It's an embarassment to how low they have sunk since the great 90's teams.

Great job by miami,s front office. Incredible that they landed all those guys. Nicky is probably slashing his wrist vertically right about now.

Question though, if you need a game winning shot who's getting the ball?

WADE. it's WADe's team, WADe's city, it's WADE COUNTY FLORIDA.. Wade gets the shot. If it misses, then Bosh cleans it up and dishes to LeBron for the win.

Word, wade is more clutch than lbj imo, I'm still baffled with raffer alston getting the ball in tat Indiana series way back. Wade was killing the pacers.
