Thread: Great New Sitcom-Louie

  1. #1

    Default Great New Sitcom-Louie

Louie follows the quasi-fictional life of the real Louis C.K. as he struggles with a recent divorce and raising two daughters in New York City. While the show is loosely based on C.K.'s actual life, the show is more a hybrid between thematically relevant segments of stand-up comedy in relation to fictional vignettes that C.K. writes, directs, edits and stars in.

This one of the funniest shows on tv period and definitely the funniest new show. It's avaiable on FX and of course torrent.

No show clips but here's some of his past wok to give you a taste if you're unfamiliar:

    Enjoy!

I had been watching Lucky Louie recently. I thought it was a new HBO show that was just picked up by Comedy Network. I thought that's what you were talking about in this thread untill you said Gervais was in the third episode.

I did some very quick reading and from what I understand HBO cancelled Lucky Louie and FX picked up the rights and now calls it Louie. I'll have to check it out because Lucky Louie was awesome. He was married and only has one kid on Lucky so it's a bit different.

    Thanks for the heads up.
