DJ Mehdi died yesterday
He was 34.
The second floor of his flat accidentally collapsed. He fell off 25 feet and died. He was known for being part of french group Ideal J since he was twelve He produced 2 of the greatest french hip hop albums, Ideal J's Le Combat Continue and 113's Les Princes de la ville. He ventured successfully into electro along with his friends Justice and Cassius. To me he will forever be the greatest french hip hop beatmaker. Here is some of his best hip hop work

he was in a coma yesterday, and cerebral death was pronounced in the afternoon. actual death was pronounced this morning (which means yesterday night in US i suppose) and confirmed by his family
