Rise Of The Foot Soldier *This Flick Is GANGSTA*
I just watched this the other day, I had never heard of it before although it just came out to buy and rent. The movie was sick, it plays like goodfellas were it's played out over a timeframe, in this case 20 years. Set in London the story is about a guy who from the age of 16 as part of a football firm (soccer) goes on to be a part of the Essex/east london mob. The flick is violent as hell, more fucked up than anything i've seen in goodfellas and casino put together. When you see some dudes get a shotgun to the face at close range, you do see it at close range. Violence aside though the film had a good story with some great performances, it's not as good as goodfellas, casino or city of god....but it's very close. If you live in the uk wtf are you waiting for?......but if you are anywhere else I suggest you seek it out at some point. Just to give you some idea heres the trailer.

yeh seen that around im frm UK so i guess i should have seen it but theres a fair amount of british films like that these days. check layer cake! now thats a good film. also outlaw is really good aswell recently got that good shit

i saw this one brit gangster flick but i didn't get the name. it stars the techno dj Goldie.
