Heres the official Review -

MPAA RATING: R for strong bloody violence, language and some sexual content/nudity

Authorities brutally quarantine a country as it succumbs to fear and chaos when a virus strikes. The literal walling-off works for three decades--until the dreaded Reaper virus violently resurfaces in a major city. An elite group of specialists, captained by Eden Sinclair (Rhona Mitra), is urgently dispatched into the still-quarantined country to retrieve a cure by any means necessary. DOOMSDAY is a fuckin sweet film. Violent, Bloody and Decrepit are all words i could use to describe this film.

Think about 'Mad Max' crossed with 'Lord of the rings' and 'Saw' and your close to what it resembles. Heads getting smashed and chopped off are just the lightweight stuff you see in this film.

I advise you watch it and tell me what your impressions are of it....

man i saw this shit at the sneak preview....needly to say i was highly disapointed

Yeah i remember going to the theater to see this. I enisually wanted to see something else but oh girl was bitching to see this. She had no idea it would be as gory as it turned out to be. Anyway, i ended up liking it more than her and thats that.

But the only part i remember out of this whole movie was when o'girl got her wig sliced off. And the car chase scene with the s&m freak strapped to the hood.

yeah the s&m dood on the car was a belter..especially when he drives into another car and he gets splattered everywhere...my kinda gore
