He is just creating vivid picture, nothing special at first sight, it is what it sad - ninjas breaking in your house, no time for action they already got your family. But it is just a metaphor of how white man(America, United Kingdom, and many other european powerful countries) always tried to hide evidence of 'raping the continents'(Africa and Asia)-making profit of enslaving the whole continents.
