I think it was just a buisness decision, they may have felt that having the wu logo may mislead some fans into thinking the clan featured on the album, so they just compromised by adding the wu-tang affiliated sticker instead.

Surely not seeing as M80 rubs shoulders with Rza and more than likely already told him about the project, also if that was the case then they would have been sued already for all the promo material that featured the W.

As if Priest didn't know RZA in '98. He was almost their 9th member damnit, and one of the most featured on soloalbums. I'm not saying that's why tho, maybe they just wanted to be their own entity.
