I was about 11 or 12 when they were big, so that whole era of the longer shorts and all that was like just as I was coming up and I loved basketball as a kid. Those were some great NBA years too.

That was back when Ohio State had Jimmy Jackson, and then I thought the Mavericks would be sweet when they got Jackson, Mashburn and Kidd.

Ah, those were the days, the economy was on the upswing, we were kicking ass in Iraq and not staying, hip hop was raw, BET was raw, MTV played videos, Rock was good and gas was under a dollar.

How times have changed.

yeah, that fab 5 shit was crazy. the whole country was rooting for them. i was playing basketball then and i remember the next year we got new uni's with the longer shorts becaue of michigan.

oh yea, that was when starter jackets were big too....the raiders were big for a while. I had me a Dallas Cowboys starter, than i got a New YOrk Jets one cuz no one else has the JEts. LOL they were horrible back then....everyone was like, JETS, why?? haha

starters were the shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!! mad people got jumped for them.

1st one i had was a raiders lol. didn't have the logo on the back, just said RAIDERS


i wanted the redskins junt the whole time, i dunno why my mom got me LA, but when she finally copped me the skins one, it was the burgandy one. i wanted black. i was so ungrateful. at least it was the logo.

3rd one i got, i took from the lost and found at the intermediate school. green miami hurricanes, with the bird logo. the kids whose it was fought me for it at mcdonalds. i pretty much beat him up, but we didn't know shit how to fight in 6th grade, still tho i ended up giving it back to him because he was maaaaaad poor and his mom was some cuban hooker who had to blow mad dicks to get it for him so he could be cool like me with my double starter getup when it was icy out.














kentucky wildcats are my college squad for b-ball and will forever be no matterhow bad they suck as of late

I liked the Cowboys as a kid. teh pre Deion Sanders Cowboys. Those games with the Niners were such classics.

I like both. I like fancy shit, but I also like some down-home type stuff too. I just like interesting food. I just hate chain restaurants, for the most part.
