Small World moments
i have lived in pittsburgh my entire life. this girl moved near me recently. she moved from new york to pittsburgh about 20 years ago. she was a little kid then. i've known her for a few months now. well we were bullshitting the other day and we started talking about our respective families, and here it turns out that her aunt lives on the same street as my aunt in the bronx, ny. they live a block away and my cousins know her cousins. that's probably the craziest thing that has ever happened to me.
i mean, there are over 8 million people living in nyc. what are the fucking odds that you would meet somebody that has realatives exactly 1 block away from your own relatives in a city that big? anybody else have anything like this happen to them before?
