a lot of people just hate on it because it had so many 11th hour revisions and whatnot....

personally I always liked it....own the real thing and bump it every now and again.....

that man Superb is sorely missed.....anyone have any info on what's up with him? Still locked up or what?

it's Ghost's best lyrically IMO, but there's some weak production that the length makes stand out even more.

the redone Flowers is godawful...the soul is stripped from the beat

Never Be The Same Again is bland as fucking fuck beatwise, as is Love Session, although Ghost shines on both

the rest ranges from good to great, but you add in the originoo Flowers, The Watch & The Sun and it goes to great-classic as an album overall

yeah Bulletproof Wallets is really underrated, but it got caught up in industry politics which fucked it up.. i think i sent you the original BPW at one point TSA so that might be the version you're bumping and that IS a superior album.

BPW (Original) - 9/10
BPW (Retail) - 7/10

co-sign, RZA and Raekwon was also heavily involved in making BPW.. it's harder to notice on the version that ended up in stores though, if their never had been any problems I think peep's would consider bpw to be along the lines of "Supreme Clientele" - or not as far away.

flowers is a classic song that was butchered in the transition to live instrumentation. the difference between the original flowers and the album cut is equal to the difference in quality between ice cream and ice cream part 2, and if you feel differently it can only be because countless listens has warped your ability to perceive its supreme wackness.

and as far as cohesiveness -- and here i just mean how these songs relate to one another strictly by the way they sound next to one another -- ironman and SC were flawless in that respect whereas BPW mixed live instrumentation songs with songs constructed from samples and has serious sequencing problems, like having love session in between the hilton and street chemistry (2 of the hardest tracks on there). p-tone, FS, MF, and to a lesser extent BDR all had these problems, and that's why i say it marked the beginning of that.

Its got nothing to do with it being a "love" song, I jst think Love Session and never b the same are just good to listen to. the new one he did isnt. it doesnt sound good. idk how clearer to make it. its just not as good of a song.

and also ghost sounds ultra gay right now, his voice, his rhymes, theyre all pretty wack imo on those songs ever since "back like that"

ghost was SICK on "Angelz", but recently not much hes done has not grated on my ears, his voice is fucked up now.
