Man I got all 2pac albums, every Biggie album, every Dre album, almost every Snoop, Bone Thugs, Nas, Jay-Z, Eminem, DMX, LOX and their solo joints.

I wont sit here and name all my albums. All I really have is real hip-hop and real music is better than the candy ass tunes we are forced fed today but yall act like having some swagger and catchiness in your song is a bad thing.

Whys that?

Whats wrong with being witty? Talking about cars and rims and degrading women is lame to me but yall act like if a rapper isnt using big ass words and talks about intergalactic space travels, then he sucks.

Fair question.

It depends how you look at an artist. Being a good rapper is fundamental. When you have these swaggers and catchiness and not a good rapper its just a cheap gimmick. Thats why Snoop's swagger boosts him so much overall because fundamentally he's still good.

If you're a shitty golfer and dress up on the golf course like Jesper Parnevik you'll just look silly.

In general a rapper need to demonstrate outstanding rap skills. If just swagger is recognized, those rappers just look like clowns.

If that rapper is good that swagger catchiness isn't bad at all. There are many that have one without the other.
