apparently suge knight and kurupt were in new york at a popular hip hop club just networking, and someone challenged kurupt to a battle (niggaz knew he could battle cuz he's from the east) ... he served the first nigga, then another nigga wanted a shot, then that nigga got served, and eventually a line started to form ... legend has it that kurupt stayed in that club until sunrise battling every nigga who wanted a piece, without taking one loss ... hence "two thousand emcees"
