MTV had the 22 greatest MCs once and PAc was 1st, biggie 2nd and EMINEM WAS 3rd! WTF. Thats saying that Eminem is the best rapper alive. Eminem is not even in the top 20 of greatest rappers and may not even be in the top 30.

yeah alot of people we're saying that most of the list was made by people who dickride the east. they could've also put aquemini on there or maybe even atliens. but for a list it's still pretty good considering it's MTV.

I can't see how MTV can forget Enter The Wu Tang 36 Chambers or Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. I actually thought the list was pretty good. Its fucked up that they slept on Wu Tang though. No overated joints. I was suprised to see Death Certificate there. That's one of my favorite albums of all time along with his Amerikkka'z Most Wanted.

I feel the same way about MTV. they display what the media wants to see, and the media right now sucks. They got there new rap, which consist of pop-y type rappers such as Nelly, Fat Joe, 50 Cent, any video from Jazze Pha.

Dont get me wrong i still like SOME of there songs but this new thing they call RAP or HIP HOP sucks, to club-y for my taste, but not for the media.

so back to the list.

I dont know much about Old school rap, but im sure they missed a coupe of people on this list, may be not WU, but some other rappers who really deserved to be on this list.

ok the top ten list is really not bad, I'm OK with most of the artists on it but please..Wu-Tang made a huge major impact in hip-hop..I would of reserved a spot or 2 at least ...common now!

Did anyone see my link? alot of the voters actually respected the wu. They just didn't make the final list. I know thats bullshit but you can't blame all the MTV people.Some voted for cuban linx and Enter the wu.
