i agree, but i think enough ppl are comfortable and content in their condition that this wouldn't happen. and if you don't have a naturally communal culture then living communally won't work or make sense.

but yeah, nothing wrong with experimentation

I kind of want to get a bunch of hot chicks and form a polygamous nudist colony. It may not solve the worlds problems but it will solve mine...

lol. yeah polygamy is the shit.

well i've lived in a communal setting and a individualistic setting and the communal setting i feel is more ..human..for lack of better words.

the only problems is there's constant drama and ppl are always dying cause you know so many old ppl.

an alternative life style that would be the shit would be a daoist one of just turning off, or a rastafarian root farmer that's isolated from the world, except his wives and seed.

I don't have any problem with people voluntarily choosing to live together in communes. If that works for you then more power to ya. Not for me though, and any system that forces communism on people takes away their rites and ability to follow their own personal will/destiny and turns them into numbers/worker bees.

Well reasoned, well reasoned. I wasn't so much thinking of Communal life as a goal, but as a means to an end. A testing ground of sorts for new ideas and new societies that are healthier mentally and physically.
