Theories can be falsified.
You can't travel a lineage in the past.
There can be no theory in regard to a belief systems origin.
Simply because, there is no way to actually test if that is the case.

If the occurances were only apparently similar and not linked, you don't have the people who organized the stories these beliefs are based on to ask.

So you have absolutely no idea where these stories came from. We can assume shit, but let's not glorify those assumptions as theoretical, they aren't.

WHen discussing belief systems, whether you label one as a philosophy, religion, creed, or spiritual set, it is ridiculous when one party, be it CHristianity or Kemitism or any romanticized version of it, pushes their beliefs as "truth" or "science". And acting as if it can be "proven" is as arrogant as it is stupid.

I follow neither religion, but if either helps you find peace or meaning in your life, than blessings and/or shem hetep to all of you.

You guys know it is "the truth" just like Prof knows Christianity the truth. You each worship/hold dear doctrines created by man to try and explain the inexplicable or ease innate fears of death.

Have you eve heard of "Christian Science"? It's the same shit. Trying to blend actual science with spirituality. It still uses scientific method.

I find it proper that you mention the western treatment of mental illness. Because that is also an inexact "science".

I never claimed to be an exert of Kemetism. But I know a little about it. I only know a little bit about Christian science too, but I know its not for me, and while I don't devalue or look down upon it, nor can I "prove" it incorrect, neither can you "prove" it to be truth.

Were the egyptians superior to Christians?

The idea of Kemetic Spirituality is interesting, and I'm certainly not trying to bash it, especially in comparison to any other religion, but I don't like how it is being insinuated that Ancient Egyptians actually believed it.

Kemetic Spirituality is recent, not ancient.

Again, I don't know much about Kemetic SPirituality, but there is certainly no evidence of Ancient Egyptians believing or practicing it, as it exists nowadays. It is an Afrocentric movement from the 70s.

Again, Im not attacking it, but I am severely questioning whether Ancient Egyptians believed it or not.
