the logic behind it isn't really mathematical at all but instead observational
ie count the loops, and yeah I googled it as it didn't make any sense to me when I was looking at it because I was trying to crunch the numbers. Interesting in their strength and my own conditioning.

idk how it is today since there have been many changes but, back in the day the SAT was similar.

non of the questions required you to do "math" the questions tested your ability to recognize patterns and find WAYS to solve the problem opposed to solving the problem.

oh shit that's exactly what i was trying to figure out (the value of each number) but i kept running into miscalculations. i didn't work with it very long tho.

but the value is based on how many circles a number has so 0 6 and 9 would all have the same value
