oklahomoa had to play texas, texas tech, and ok state. all elite teams last year. texas had to play those teams as well. take away the OOC games for USC and OSU and tell me who they played? again, they need those games to supplement their soft in-conference schedules.

i guess you think ohio, youngstown state, navy, and toledo are tough games? virginia and SDSU? every big program schedules "scrimmages".

your focusing on whether a team plays a game outside there conference instead of focusing on how many quality opponents a team plays whether its OOC or not. it doesnt matter. a quality opponent is a quality opponent.

you want florida and texas to schedule another tough opponent so they'll then be playing 3 tough games? why should they do that? top big10, pac10, and ACC teams arent doing that.

florida state sucks and you know it.

FYI, alabama started the year off by playing #7 virginia tech

The Big Ten had a down year with Michigan playing awful.

All im saying is that the SEC can't hide behind their, 'we play a tough conference' excuse.

Its good for college football to see these teams play eachother.

Everyone else has done it, its time for them to step it up.

Its called you play in the Big East and your toughest competition is RUTGERS.

i don't know toochski, if we win out, we will get a bcs game. iowa is going to get the big 10 bsc bid. so it looks like we may have a better bowl.

iowa still has to play Ohio State in Columbus so I dont kno, altho they do have a victory over penn state which is huge.

And i dont kno if Ohio State is going to beat Penn State this year, but basically if Ohio State wins out, t hey win the Big Ten and we go to the Rose Bowl.
